Mobile X-ray Systems
Kimtron's added mobility to its family of made-in-the-USA NDT X-ray systems. Based on the same components used in our cabinet-based X-ray systems, the 160-MXS and 225-MXS were designed for customers who produce huge products requiring Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and must bring the inspection system to the work, rather than getting the work into an X-ray cabinet or room. Unlike portable X-ray systems, the Kimtron MXS series offers superior stability, a higher HV output frequency, and greater power, all at a 100% duty cycle.

Polaris® 450-MXS Mobile X-ray System
Kimtron Inc. today announced the availability of new mobile X-ray systems with the introduction of a 450 kV, high-frequency continuous-duty X-ray system for mobile applications. The new mobile system is designed specifically to target the Defense, Petrochemical, and Natural Gas industries. The unit combines the flexibility of a “portable” unit with the superior power, resolution and sensitivity of a stationary, constant potential system. It can drive most commercially available 450 kV X-ray tubes and may be used with a myriad of detectors.
